How To Order
There are many different ways for you to order your Simply Elegant Stationery.
Ordering in person, by telephone or email:
If you are near us, phone or email to arrange your free one hour no obligation consultation with our friendly designer. Here you can see samples and choose between card and ribbon swatches to help you create your personalised design.
We can also have a design consultation with you over the phone or email if you would prefer. If you decide to order, we will send you an email proof to approve before we print your order.
We now offer the option to Order online. This is perfect if you live further away and want a quick and easy way to purchase you Simply Elegant Stationery. Just choose the item you want, add it to your basket and follow the instructions to enter the quantity and colour/text options you desire. We will send you an email proof to approve before we print your order.
How long will it take?:
From receiving your approval of the proof it will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete your order.
All orders are delivered for a cost of £11
Samples and swatches:
If you would like a free colour swatch of card or ribbon before you order please contact us and we will send you a small swatch to view.
We can also create a sample of the invitation or product in your colour choices if you contact us to arrange this. A sample will cost £10 which will be taken off your order if you choose that design.
We are always happy to email PDF samples in a specific colour scheme for free.
Is there a minimum order value?
There is a minimum order value of 20 invitations / Save the Dates / Menus and Order of services.
Do I need to order all my stationery items in one go?
No. It is often the case that the quantities for your other stationery items depend on the response from your wedding invitations. You can place your wedding stationery order separately and we will have all your design and colour preferences remembered to make ordering your other stationery items extra easy.
What are your payment terms?
Due to the handmade-to-order nature of your wedding stationery, payment is to be made in full upon placing your order.
How do I let you know what I want written in my invitations?
Before proceeding to checkout you will be prompted to enter your wedding details. If you would like a custom wording this is no problem, please email details to us at email@example.com. For all other items such as menu cards & order of service booklets please email details over to us.
Will I see proofs before my wedding stationery is printed?
Yes. We will send you proofs of the text for all your stationery items via email in the form of a pdf document for you to view. It is only once you have agreed confirmation of these proofs that we will proceed with your order. If you would rather a hard copy of your proofs, please inform us upon ordering and this will be arranged for you.
What should I check for on my proofs?
Your proof will show you how your text is going to appear to your guests. You should therefore check that all spelling is correct, you are happy with the layout, all stationery items are included, all dates and information is correct and the colours you have chosen are correct (if applicable).
What happens if I run out of Invitations?
We always advise purchasing an extra 5 – 10 invitations to be on the safe side as there can often be last minute changes to your guest list. If you do, however, need to order additional invitations then providing there are no changes you wish to make, we will produce them for you at the same single unit price.
How many ‘Order of Service’ cards should I order?
We suggest ordering one order of service card for each guest attending the ceremony, however one order of service for every two guests should be sufficient if you are on a tighter budget.
Can I choose my own wording for my wedding invitations?
Yes. We have a number of suggested wording templates but you are welcome to provide us with the wording of your choice, providing it fits onto your stationery. Please ensure that you email us the text to firstname.lastname@example.org and take extra care to check nothing is missing and all is spelt correctly, as this will be the text we use. We will then typeset your text for you at no extra cost.
How long before my wedding day should I send my invitations?
It is usual to send your invitations around 4-6 months before your wedding day.
Should I send Save The Date cards?
If your wedding is taking place during the busy summer months, it is advisable to send out save the date cards to your guests between 6 – 12 months in advance. Your wedding invitations will then follow closer to the time. Similarly, if your wedding is overseas or requires your guests to make a number of arrangements, then save the date cards are ideal to ensure enough time is allowed.
